Created in Denmark by hairdresser Anne-Sophie Skjødt Villumsen, ZENZ Organic is a certified organic haircare and skincare brand that combines professional performance with clean formulations and a responsible approach to beauty.
All ZENZ products carry the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and are free from harmful chemicals and endocrine-disrupting substances. Many products are also allergy-certified, making them particularly suitable for sensitive skin and scalps.
Clean Formulations and Effective Ingredients
ZENZ shampoos and conditioners are completely silicone-free and contain carefully selected active ingredients such as organic aloe vera, coconut water and cold-pressed avocado oil.
Depending on the product, the formulations may also contain Moroccan rhassoul clay, wheat protein and prickly pear, which moisturise and nourish the hair while helping to strengthen its structure. The result is clean, soft and naturally beautiful hair without unnecessary ingredients.
Fragrance-Free Pure Range
The fragrance-free Pure range has been created especially for sensitive skin and scalps. Its gentle formulations are suitable for people with allergies, pregnant women and anyone who prefers mild, fragrance-free haircare.
Harmoniously Blended Fragrances
The ZENZ collection includes fresh notes of menthol, eucalyptus, bergamot and neroli, as well as sweeter aromas of caramel and peach. Cedarwood, patchouli, myrrh and sandalwood add warmth and depth.
All fragrances have been created to complement one another harmoniously, allowing different ZENZ products to be combined with ease.

Depending on the product, ZENZ carries several internationally recognised certifications and labels, including the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, AllergyCertified, Ecocert COSMOS Organic and the Vegan Society trademark.

What if we did not have to choose between beauty and wellbeing?
For Danish hairdresser Anne-Sophie Skjødt Villumsen, this was not merely a philosophical question, but a deeply personal one. After developing an allergy to chemicals commonly used in the hairdressing industry, she spent years searching for healthier alternatives.
She loved her work but knew that something had to change. When Anne-Sophie could not find the products she was looking for, she decided to create them herself. This is how ZENZ Organic was born.
